Surah #17 · “The Night Journey”
Al-Isra (The Night Journey) is a Makkan surah of 111 verses that opens with the Prophet ﷺ's miraculous journey from Makkah to Jerusalem. Also known as Bani Isra'il, it gathers moral commands — do not approach zina, honor parents, do not kill a soul.
