Surah #40 · “The Forgiver”
Ghafir (The Forgiver) is a Makkan surah of 85 verses also called 'Al-Mu'min.' It opens with the divine names Al-Ghafir, Qabil al-Tawb, Shadid al-'Iqab — presenting God as forgiving yet exacting in justice.
