Surah #26 · “The Poets”
Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets) is a Makkan surah of 227 verses. It retells the stories of Musa, Ibrahim, Nuh, Hud, Salih, Lut, and Shu'ayb in a rhythmic structure, closing with a repudiation of poets who say what they do not do.
